The beret and the beanie share a long history as practical, democratic forms, later adopted by artists, writers and designers as symbols of personal style. The beret’s origins lie in European workwear and military dress, while the beanie evolved from functional knit caps worn for warmth and ease. Both have since become enduring wardrobe staples.

In this collection, these familiar silhouettes are reimagined through fine materials and considered detail. Winter styles are crafted in pure wool and felted knits for warmth and structure, while lighter versions are worked in fine cotton knits and Japanese cotton for warmer months.
