Hats, Fascinators & Headpieces
Most Nerida Fraiman hats, fascinators and headpieces are designed to fit without sizing. Pieces are secured with either a headband or discreet hat elastic, and can be adapted with loops or combs on request.
Trilbies & Cloches
Trilbies and cloches are made to a standard head size of 57cm. If you require a different size, please contact the studio before ordering, as each piece can be made to your measurement.
To measure, use a flexible tape and place it where the hat will sit — across the forehead and around the back of the head, slightly above the ears. The fit should be snug, not tight. Note the measurement in centimetres.
Turbans
Turbans require two measurements for the correct fit.
1: Circumference
Measure around the head where you would like the turban to sit. The tape should reflect how you prefer it to fit. If you usually cover your ears, include them. Note the measurement in centimetres.
2: Front to back
Measure from the point where you would like the turban to begin at the front, over the top of the head, to where you would like it to finish. If you wear your hair up, include it. Keep the tape slightly loose and note the measurement in centimetres.
Each turban is handmade, so slight variations may occur. If you are unsure, please contact the studio before ordering. Custom sizes can be made to order.
