SILHOUETTE

A compact beret sits close to the head. The leather rose forms the central sculptural element, while the veil introduces a soft layer around the beret and across the front.

CRAFTSMANSHIP & MATERIALS

The beret begins with a blocked sinamay base with a clean dome profile. Multicoloured sequin fabric is applied across the surface, and the leather rose is handmade with individually formed petals. A multicolour dot veil is draped to add volume,movement and texture. Handmade in the London studio. Secured with hat elastic positioned just behind the hairline, passing behind the ears and beneath the hair to the nape of the neck.
